The photos tell the story, we have been around horses for a considerable time and a lot has happened in between. It all started at a local riding school age 4, progressing to Pony Club, then Rodeo, Polocross, Working Horses, Natural Horsemanship and qualifications in Bowen Therapy for Horses. Then into Reining competitions winning two NRHA National Non Pro Futurities in Australia and also competing in America winning a Non Pro Futurity.
In the eighties we owned a cattle station with 2500 breeders and being on swamp country, horses and a plane were the only tools used for cattle work. We had a string of 30 working horses, mostly Quarter horses and Australian stockhorses. Many years of knowledge was gained from outback legends in breeding both cattle and horses. Our stud cattle breeding programme at Opal Park has also been very rewarding, resulting in us breeding and showing the Best of Breed Supreme Champion Bull and Interbreed Grand Champion Bull at the 2001 Royal Melbourne Show.
