Opal Park Stud has selected over the past 15 years the best quality broodmares we could find, sometimes paying far more than market value but we had a goal to breed reining horses equal to any where in the world and build the Australian industry along the way. Over the past five years other breeders have shared our dream and consistently bred their quality mares to our imported stallions which has added even more depth than if we had gone alone.
Our broodmares include a number of Futurity winners and producers of Futurity winners, also wins in many other major events Derbies, Classics, Opens and a range of Non Pro classes.
We strive to only breed from the best, over the past four years we have produced 8 futurity wins from our broodmares.
